Portal Campo de los Alisos:
- This is the main access road to the park, where there is an operational centre called Santa Rosa. It has a ranger's office, toilets, a day use area and a camping site. Trails of varying lengths and difficulty leave from here.
- To get to this gateway, first take the paved National Route 65 to the locality of Alpachiri. From there, a dirt road of about 13.5 kilometres leads to the recreational area. It is advisable to ask beforehand how the last 3 km are, especially the crossing of the Jaya River. Bear in mind that during the summer rainy season (December to March) access can be very difficult.
- If you are going to spend a long time in the park it is advisable to be equipped with enough drinking water and food. In Alpachiri you can buy some groceries and drinks, and there is some accommodation.
