Information
The national park is undoubtedly one of the main attractions of Tierra del Fuego. It is an optimal place for those interested in being in contact with nature and wildlife watching.
This protected area presents a mountainous relief with forests and several water courses. Visitors can see its sea coast, lake, peat bogs and rivers. And there are several trails of different types for trekking and touring the different environments.
There are several ways to get there. You can go by car along National Route 3 (bear in mind that inside the park the road is gravel). There are also buses that leave from Ushuaia and drop you off at the park. Another way to get there is by the Tren del Fin del Mundo (End of the World Train), whose final station is inside the protected area.
There is a visitor centre called Alakush, which has exhibition halls, a restaurant/confectionery and public toilets.
The park has camping sites, but you should ask at the ranger's office if they are enabled.
