It is a city in the southwest of the province of Corrientes. It is located on the east bank of the Corriente River, at a short distance from its mouth in the Paraná River.
It has a tourist information office, ATM, petrol station, lodgings and some places to eat. Its downtown area is located along 25 de Mayo Avenue in the area between 25 de Mayo and 9 de Julio Squares.
An attraction is its waterfront, which you can walk along with good views of the Corriente River and its islets. Its long and sandy beach stands out, and can be accessed directly from the riverside.
In front of the main square (25 de Mayo Square) is the municipal historical museum Armando Martínez Rolón, which has rooms with exhibits related to the history of the city.
