Information

Santa Lucía is a town located in the western part of the Argentine province of Corrientes. It lies approximately 23 km from the city of Goya and about 56 km from Bella Vista. The town sits alongside the Santa Lucía River, which originates in the Santa Lucía wetlands to the northeast, passes alongside the town and eventually empties into the Paraná River.

The town offers basic services that ensure a comfortable stay for visitors. It has shops where you can buy food, a few places to sit down and eat and a fuel station.

Its main attraction is undoubtedly the municipal beach, located next to the bridge that crosses the river. It's a place that surprises you when you see it, thanks to its wide stretch of nearly white sand and a dune area at one end. The river's waters are clear with a sandy bottom. The beach has space for parking vehicles, several shaded areas provided by trees, umbrellas and grills, perfect for enjoying a day outdoors. It's worth noting that during the hottest summer months, especially in January and February, the area tends to fill up with visitors from both the town and neighboring communities.

For those wishing to visit Santa Lucía, the town has a bus terminal with a tourist information office. Buses arrive there from cities such as Corrientes, Goya, Gualeguay, Mendoza, Neuquén, Paraná, Rosario and Santa Fe. If traveling by car, the main access route is Provincial Route 27 which connects the town with Goya to the south and Bella Vista to the north.
